Halo 3 had the most hype and anticipation any video had, ever. That is saying something. Was it all worth the hype? I'd have to say hell yeah it was. The third and possibly final Halo game (besides Halo Wars) finishes up the story that you wanted to finish in Halo 2. The campaign mode is as fun as it ever was, with a lot of new weapons, vehicles, and situations never experienced in a Halo game before. You play as Master Chief the whole time around, unless your playing online 4 player co-op, and your either the Arbiter or 2 other Elites. The ending is satisfying, but only if you watch after the credits. Beating the game on Legendary also unlocks a few more rewarding seconds in the ending. The multiplayer is as good as it's ever been, even better. With countless online modes, the return of the party system, ranks, and custom games, the online mode will be active as long as the 360 is. I would give this game a 10, but there are a few things that I thought prevented it from being perfect. In campaign mode, when you sometimes get messages from the Gravemind and Cortana, it gets annoying since you move very slowly, and you often get messages very close to each other, and at first it felt cool but after a while, got old. Another thing why I'd say it isn't perfect, is there are no clans in Halo 3, where in Halo 2 there were. Since the new review system can't let me give this game a 9.9, I'm forced to give a 9.5.
