Halo 3

While a solid shooter, it just doesnt bring enough to the table to be considered a good shooter.

Halo 3 doesnt pull any new tricks. They take an already established gameplay formula, come up with a new and disappointing story, then build some levels around it.

Anyone looking for something refreshing should avoid this title. But if you're a Halo fan then obviously this game is for you. Smart gamers will recognize the hype and poor substance and will save their money for a more deserving title.

Whats worse, this game seems far shorter than the previous two titles. When I visited a friend for the weekend, I was able to beat Halo 3 in a few sittings before I left for home! And the game costs 55+ dollars!

People, there are far better shooters out there. I know this game is a "must own" since it is so hyped, but be honest: it is average at best.

  Without LIVE don't expect to get much out of Halo 3, but if you do have LIVE then it's certainly a worthwhile purchase.
