Halo 3 is meant to be the latest in the generation of fps futuristic shooters. Every Halo game I have played I really havn't enjoyed, everything just seemed to be ripped off from other games and it was poorly done at that. As an xbox user I feel I HAVE to like this game as it seems its the flagship fps for the console.

Gameplay:
Typical fps, easy controls and satisfiying weapons, we go though a range of weapons fighting enemys with futuristic weapons and equipment. Theres no weight to the guns, no innovation in the gameplay, it just feels dull at best. The single player campaign just bored the jeebz off me and if it wasn't for the online mode I might have given this title a 3! The physics in the game dont feel right compared to other shooters as well, its typically easy with little recoil and this just adds to the lack of enjoyment for me. The only redeeming feature is the replays in which you can replay you gun battles in slowmotion and change the camera angle! (very cool)

Graphics + sound:
It feels like your part of a childrens tv show at times, the graphics (like the other halo titles) seem rushed. Bad textures, fuzzy movements, cartoon-like is the best way to describe it.
Compared to other games I have played, the graphics are poor and make the whole experience feel cheap. Gears of war 2 makes this game look like the kiddie game down the street!
Sound track is distinctly average and in parts makes you want to turn it down.

Online:
This is the only redeeming feature of the game, I enjoyed shooting other people and got involved in the online modes of the game. You can look past the flaws in the game and enjoy shooting your friends in an often UT3-like way.
My god though, Why does it take so long to find a game? 20 mins I waited before I finished writing this, I pay for xbox live and although I love the layout and how it works, it stinks.

Great/fun online mode, Improved graphics from Halo 1+2, You will enjoy if you liked previous halo's, excellent replay feature.

Poor graphics in my eyes, boring single player, over hyped, theres much better fps' out there infact theres much better games out there.

I fail to understand the hype for this game, I love fps and shooters in general but I feel this game is simply 3rd best to other titles.
