Halo, the Placebo of Video Games. SPOILER ALERT!!!!!!!
Well, it isn't nearly the mythical status many fanboys give it. You see, since Halo one is So good, an everyone said it was good, it brainwashed people, and they think "Halo? TEH OMG!!!!" everytime Master chief is on screen.
The graphics? their OK. I honestly can't say their good, when compared to games like BiosShock, CoD4, and GeOW. They use WAAAYYY too much motion blur. The textures are...OK. The models are done nicely though. It's odd that a game that's been in production for 4 years by a multinational Billionaire company, doesn't have better graphics, especially when they make the 360!
The music, other than the Halo theme, is average at best. It consists mainly of this wierd new age/ elevator music, that loops and gets on your nerves.
The gameplay is the same as Halo 1. The crap like the bubble shield and such... they are useless. You might use them a grand total of twice. It doesn't make sense to put up a sheild and wait for 30 seconds, in a high paced Action game. The shooting is nice and simple. it's pretty good.
The Story isn't that good. Pretty much:
1. Master cheif crash lands.
2. He has to fight hordes of enemies, until he is evacuated.
3. he has to blow up a giant artillery gun.
4. A portal to another world opens, the flood come, and he has to blow up a ship engine.
5.Go around and kill stuff for a couple hours
6. Kill the prophet.
7. Find cortana.
8. Blow up halo, again.

It's an OK game, but it pales in comparison to Halo 1.
