Its a great game to play with friends and is virtually useless with out XBL.
story is good but gets extremely boring.
i have spent countless hours chasing the sniper.
there are many online game types for all types of players
Team snipers for snipers, and just plain slayer, also game types that resemble mini games.
there is a great ranking system but can easily be passed and then play against new players EX: brigaders losing matches to play lower Ranks.
This Game is getting boring now( for me) as after a while you play all game types, beat campaign over and over again and you eventually get sick of the Halo game style of the Future.
Halo is also a great game to edit maps in forge mode or just Joke around with friends over XBL or localy.
