in this game ( like the other halo games) you are master chief a spartan solder who saves the earth a number of times form the covenant. this is one of the most well known first person shooter in x box history. this game is not only worth the wait its also worth the price ($60). yes at times you might say " hey this is like in halo 2" but with the great graphics the awesome new things and the customizable character this is very forgivable. this this halo you ally with e elites who are past servers of the covenant. but the brute have taken their place now the elites want to kill the covenant. and the humans just want to kill the covenant to protect the earth from them. all in all this is a great game that everyone should at least try out. also there (as you know) adjustable difficulties normal is a bit harder then it is in halo 2 but if you never play a halo game start on easy and work you way up
