it is admittedly a decent game, but has nothing new. without bungie's ongoing support, it wouldn't have broken a million

User Rating: 8 | Halo 3 X360
halo 3 has a very compelling story, although somewhat poor voice acting, and in general it's singleplayer is great. but it ends. like all single player. what really made halo get it's 10 million sales, is it's developer. it has pretty good gameplay to it's engine, pretty good graphics, pretty good normal game modes, just all around, average. however, bungie updates the online practically every week with new game modes, often based on the community, such as the popular comedy youtube video series red vs blue (with over 100 episodes), for example, grif ball, a single flag ctf game with only the gravity hammer for a weapon, in a big empty warehouse. it's also supported by a very good matchmaking and party system, making it very social. all in all it's an incredibly fun game, but not as fun as it's fans make it seem.
