Can Halo withstand Call of Duty 4?

User Rating: 9 | Halo 3 X360
Halo 3 was dubbed the 'most popular game' ever to be made. But as soons as it was released the critics were overjoyed to give it lower than expected ratings for it's low quality campaign. The campaign consists of only 10 Missions, thats less than half of Call of Duty 4's missions. Hardly gets it off to a good start. Then we come to the better parts of Halo 3.

- Forge
Its great fun making maps and then playing matches on the maps that you have made. You can also make stunt maps with catapults etc.

- Theater
This is a brilliant idea. You view tonnes of your previous games and record short clips from them or take photos which are immediatly transported to the bungie.com server (assuming you have xbox live).

- Bunige Profiles
I love the Bungie Profiles. You can view all your records, medals, ranks, achievements, screenshots. Its simply Brilliant.

Now we get more serious, and about one of the major modes. Online play. Halo 3 online, at first, is great fun, and it remains great until you get to the Spartan Officer ranks. At this point I started to get bored and the next rank up seemed almost unachiveable. I prefer COD4's online system because you can prestige and every rank is attainable quite quickly. I think COD4 is better in a realistic way also.

Although on Halo 3, I think the achivements that you can get are really good, I just don't think it can stand up to the quality that Call of Duty 4 possess.
