A shadow of the once great series

Halo has been a series with lots of loyal fans but it seems that after Bungie abandoned Halo, it went down hill right away. Everything has a sort of dull feel to it, the crew you used to have running with you and cheering you on is not there. The great music and sounds of the various weapon are also missing. It seems like it has the same old body but it is missing it's soul. It is still a pretty solid game but nothing compared to any of the previous Halos, including ODST. It is worth buying at a lower price for people who are interested in trying it but I think Halo fans should just look forward to Destiny.

Many people have complained about gears having better graphics but being virtually monochrome and this game is an excellent case of that kind of issue.
There are no real improvements, the new characters are all boring and weak and the new weapons are the same. When there are so many great shooters out there I see no reason to recommend this to anyone who isn't already a big Halo fan.
