One of the best games ever made.

I was one of the haters when X-Box first game out, but this game single-handedly got me to buy a X-Box. Gameplay (10)- The gameplay is phenomenal,. The game handles very well. The controls feel natural after only a tiny bit of gameplay. Everything is positioned perfectly. So perfectly to the point where most games on all three big systems use this game's controller scheme for their own games. The physics to the game are also realistic. Despite the fact that you are fighting aliens on an artificial planet, you could swear that you were in a real place with make believe characters. Graphics (9)- The graphics in this game are great. They are very polished. Some of the charecters and buildings may look polygonal, but overall it just looks great. It has rich that you could just stare all day at. (If it weren't for you getting attacked) Sound (9)- There is nothing wrong with the sound. Everything sounds realistic. If you are shooting the assault rifle, it sounds like what shooting an assault rifle today would. All of the NPC's say little things that add to their personality. It was all very nicely done. Value (10)- Playing through this game is very enjoyable. And multiple difficulties will keep you coming back to campaign for a long time, no matter how many times you beat the game. The multi-player in this game is amazing. While it isn't connected to X-Box Live, getting into the middle of a 16 person game for the first time is an experience no one will ever soon forget. There are also many different modes in multi-player, allowing for endless (and I mean endless) hours of gameplay with friends. Overall, this is an amazing games, and should be considered in one of the top few first-person-shooters of all times. This game is just a notch below perfect, and in today's gaming community, that is a rare feat.
