Halo is a sci-fi shooter from bungie, a studio that sky-rocketed into fame with the success of this game. Halo is about your character, Master Chief, destroying a super weapon that aliens, the covenant, are trying to use to destroy more aliens, the flood. The reason you are trying to destroy it is simple....if they activate this super weapon, the human race will be wiped out as well.
Halo does everything extremely well. The controls are very tight and precise, and the graphics are very good with highly detailed environments. The sound is terrific with guns sounding realistic and the music of a symphony playing all throughout the game. Halo has a high replay value due to it having multiple difficulties, and great multiplayer. I had a blast playing this game back in 2002, and still enjoy playing it today.
So with that being said, if you own an XBOX, buy this game! If you don't own an XBOX, buy an XBOX then buy this game! It's that good.
