Gameplay [10] Pros: - Best AI ever in an FPS. - Multiplayer is a real treat, especially if you can LAN often. - Perfect blend of vehicles and on-foot action. - Just plays SOLID. - Several simple gameplay mechanics that revolutionized the genre. Cons: - Some of the level design gets pretty monotonous, and the last half of the game is a rehash of the first half, but with new enemies. A minor gripe considering the quality of the gameplay. Graphics: - Nothing at the time of release looked quite this impressive. - Everything is shiny, and it still doesn't look tacky. Very skillful use of tech effects. - Beautiful art direction. Cons: - Looks sort of plain and dry in certain rare instances. Sound [10] Pros: - Spot on sound effects. - Lifelike voice acting, especially during combat. - Best musical score ever for an FPS. Cons: - None. Value [8] Pros: - Worth playing over again at least twice. - Multiplayer will make you a fanatic. This one will go over bigger than Goldeneye. Cons: - Still only about 10 hours through, less the second time. - Single player gets very boring. Tilt [10] Pros: - Probably one of the biggest revolutions in the genre, especially as a console game. - A multiplayer masterpiece. A shame it didn't go over that well on the PC. Cons: - Just that accursed level design that held it back from true perfection.
