Halo: Combat Evolved came out back in 01, and it pretty much sold the Xbox console for years. It turned people who played adventure type games into playing shooter games. The campaign is one of the most intense and engaging stories in long time and has good replay value and challenge. The multiplayer is what sells this game to most people. It is very satisfying 3 shotting another player with the pistol in multiplayer. Years on end people played this game on LAN, tournaments, XBC, Xlink, and when you will be reading this review, people will still be playing it. While this is a perfect game, it has a small flaw, no online/xbox live play, but that can be solved with things such as XBC and Xlink. If you somehow missed this game or somehow never heard of it, you should go pick it up and play it, and experience one of the best games ever made.
