Halo: Combat Evolved, one of the classics games of the 21st centuary, to have been created.
In Halo you are a Spartan called Mastercheif and you are basically the only hope fpr the human race against this epic battle against te covenant. The humans have been at war with the Covenant the brutal aliens. The ship were your journey as Masterchief begins gets raided by Covenant forces, you battle your way out of the ship to a pod. You crash on this ring called Halo. Basically the pod you are on you are the only aurvivour, this is were you find out the story of the ring, Halo.
The controls on Halo are really easy to pick up and you have various things you can do use a flash light have night vision when using a sniper rifle. The buttons are not hard to get to grips with they are really easy.
The graphics of Halo are fantastic till this day they are still amazing, the enviroments such as the water looks absolutely real so the games not just got a good story line but also has great graphical effects as well.
Gameplay of Halo is amazing, as i said it will keep you n your feets and the use of bombs and being able to throw a plasma bomb on a elites head and watching them scream as they are about to do is seriously funny, also having a cluster of the Covenant in an area throwing a fragmentation bomb in there and watching there bodies fly.
The weapons are very good there not all the same you have the covenant weapons you can use and the human weapons. Each weapon has its speciality so you can use them for different type of aliens. Once you get to terms with the weapons you will be able to use the most effective weapons against certain alien.
you can also use a melee attacks which is very helpful because you get to certain parts of the level where the Covenant are un aware of your presence and i have found my self to take out a whole room full of Covenant with out them even noticing im there, by using melee attacks.
Music and sound contained in Halo is great and adds to the gameplay greatly and has a good effect on the game it self.
Overall Halo is a Fantastic gae and i greatly enjoy it up to now also Halo 2, but ocasionly I feel to have a game of Halo. If you have not played any of the Halo games and you have an Xbox rent it out, but I beleive that if you have an Xbox you would have played Halo. If not Rent it out or if you have a friend who has it PLAY IT!!! you will enjoy it.
