Even better than GRAW and Cod4(Was joking when I rated it 1.0 out of 10, it's really quite fun)...COMBINED!

User Rating: 10 | Halo (Xbox Collection) XBOX
The not so awesome:
-The multiplayer could have been a lot better but hey the system link and variety of weapons make up for it.
-If there was anything else wrong it's probably something tiny and insignifcant.

The Awesome:
-Literally everything else about the game charecters, plot, graphics( at the time) voice acting, weapons, A.I, and etc. It's just a fantastic game I'd give it an 11 out of 10 if possible.

First off I just wanna say Halo has to be the best FPS to ever reach a console! You might call this biased but I call it the truth. This game is even more of a classic than Mario which is definetally not an FPS but you get the point it's just a poop load 'o fun.

First off are
Charecters: Master chief=Epic Win. In my book possibly the most memorable charecter in FPS gaming history scratch that... in ANY GAME PERIOD. Ror those who have not played and or heard of halo(gasp!)Master Chief or Spartan 117 is a cyborg like super soldier, who is fighting the typical space aliens the Covenant and also must prevent the ancient ring of mass Destruction, Halo from activating and wiping out all sentient life in the galaxy. Hey it sounds cliche at first but once you play I think you might change your mind. Now Master Chief is also a charecter that virtually never talks and we(the playes) know very little about him. "So how is he such a great charecter?" you ask? Simple, it lets us(the player) become the chief himself as in the master chief is really a cybernetically enhanced version of yourself, after all it's your gameplay experience so each you play it'll be unique from the very first experience to possibly the 23rd gameplay experience, he doesn't even talk much during cutscenes either meaning the game lets you decide how you wish to view the cutscenes either from your perspective or perhaps the chiefs perspective or even through Marios perspective it all depends on you.

I'm not gonna go into too much depth of the other charecters but they are very deep and lifelike, I've only seen a few games that has actual charecters.

Sound: Is one of a kind! Grenades sound like grenades, Rockets sound like rockets, Needlers sound like Needlers..I guess. But you get the point everything sounds like what they should sound like and that deserves a thumbs up. Voice acting could use a tiny bit more touching up but that's just a tiny insignificant fault within sound let alone the entire game.

Graphics: They were the Call of Duty 4 graphics back then but don't appeal to todays standards such as http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bLiX5d3rC6o but even if I was reviewing them by todays standards I would say that they are tiny insigificant faults compared to the game itself.

Gameplay: Simple controlls + Easy to use weapons + decently challenging enemies= WIN Now I do admit there could have been more of a variety of enemies but the A.I makes up for it, after all they are more than just Koopas and Mushrooms waiting to be stomped on.

Story: Think the cliche typical big tuff Rambo-like caucasian guy saving the universe from evil aliens getting the girl and all that jazz. Now lets say the take away the Rambo-like Caucasian guy and replace him with a green 7ft tall suite of armor that almost never talks and somewhat saves the universe but really the story has just begun. Halo is indeed cliche but not so cliche that you can predict the entire outcome of the story from the first few levels, especially with the major plot twist that basically changes the entire story completly. It's twists like that which make a fantastic and memorable story.

Overall: The best FPS to ever reach a console. As most people probably say on their hip internet forums "YOU WIN!".
