THE fps of the new millenium.

Halo was the sole reason I bought the xbox when it came out. At that time, the first day of the xbox release, no one knew what a console mover Halo was going to be. It was the most fantastic fps since Goldeneye in my opinion. I logged countless hours, probably well over two hundred, playing this game over and over; it simply never got old. The graphics were beautiful, the gameplay was awesome, Master Chief was kick ass, the Covenant were a worthy foe, the weapons were just plain cool...I could go on and on. This game is perfection, I don't know how to put it any other way. When it came out, a couple of years back, it was the most innovative and graphically progressive game on the market. And that's just the single player mode. Multiplayer, even pre online play, was ridiculously fun. The maps were vast and open which made for an excellent immersive game of multiplayer. I spent too many good hours of my life up until dawn playing against my friends with this one. I don't really think there is anyone left who hasn't played Halo but if you haven't you should be ashamed of yourself; you're not a true gamer. Halo was a fantastically designed, adrennaline pumping, beautifully rendered masterpiece that just begged to be played over and over. I myself gave into the incessant pleas to blast on "just one more elite before I go to bed." This game is absolutely flawless and for that matter so is the whole Halo franchise thus far. It gets a ten out of ten in my book.
