From the first moment I picked up an Xbox controller, to 5 minutes ago when I put it down, my opinion has been the same.

When I first picked up an Xbox controller (fresh from the package in '01), a buddy and I played through campaign mode co-op, in about 7 hours. Ever since, the entrapping story, amazing gameplay, and ferocious multiplayer have caught me hook, line, and sinker. From the moment that Master Chief first said "I need a weapon", I knew I was in for the time of my life. The controls, once adjusted to your liking, speed wise and such, would be hard to match or find equal of. The gameplay has me coming back to the single-player campaign every now and then, which is amazing for a game that is almost 6 years old. Even when Halo 2 came out, I still came back to Halo. It introduced me to the world of FPS, and I will never forget that. My allegiance is always to Halo, and nothing will change that. If you haven't played it yet, despite that one buddy always nagging you to play it, go over to that buddy's house, knock his door down and play it. And if he tells you to get off, tell him where he can put his original Controller S.
