First of all, this game was amazing when it first came out. If you have halo 2 and now you just want to buy this to be a loyal fan, you might be a little dissapointed. The first thing is that you walk about 3x faster then you do in halo 2. There is also less guns and in multiplayer, the pistol is very cheap (3 shot kill plus scope) there are also no banshees and some other vehicles. A good point of getting this game is the maps though. Mostly all of them are good. The campaign mode is fun, although i think halo 2 has a little bit better one. It is still a great game by any standards, but comparing it to halo 2, well it really doesnt compare. So at this point i recommend you just buy halo 2 but if you get really bored of that and are looking for a change then this would probably be the way to go.
