This is the game that would start a revolution in the gaming community, never before have so many people followed the existence of such a game. As a FPS the game did remarkably well when placed in contention with others of the same gene such as Rainbow 6, however, it would not be until almost a year later that the true magnitude of what this game could do would be released. The LAN party would come out in full force as people connected their X-Box's together to duke it out against each other, this, although not totally unexpected, would allow for Microsoft to better bring about the Online Gaming Revolution through their X-Box Live functions later on down the road with the sequel to this Halo.
