Halo: Combat Evolved is the best game ever. 'Nuff said. It has great graphics, (Even now in 2005, they're good.) tons of multiplayer maps, and lots of weapons, enemies, and vehicles. My favorite part is the LAN Parties. Unfortunately, there's no Xbox Live. Just LAN Parties. Which means you need to create a local wireless network using a few Xboxes. Still, the LAN Parties are freakin' sweet and fun. The storyline is intense and deep. The characters are also memorable and likeable, including the bad guys. That's another thing about Halo-the enemies are so diverse. You're not continuously killing human after human like most FPS games. You're fighting all the classes of the Covenant Armada: Grunts, Jackals, Elites, Hunters, along with the Flood and Sentenels. Each type of enemy has different health and weapons. In my mind Halo is an instant classic.
