After i booted up the game and began playing i noticed the game was seriously well polished but i got the feeling it was a little too much for the xbox to handle in parts, bad framerate but not bad enough to return the game. After having a good go at all the features it's clear where the effort has all went and very clear that Bungie had their independence on the game as it's very nice to look at but not trying to be something it isn't. The controls are the same good old reliable with probably some minor tweaks, the rifles seem to be less toyish to use and actually look more aesthetically appealing. I still get the same sense of plastic like in the first game but obviously the tech wasn't as great so i don't realise why things look and feel so plasticy in the game. Lots of well designed levels and landscapes and the effort put into the levels and beauty of the game shows when you realise your almost finished the campaign and realise just how short it is... Many games these days fall into this category with great graphics and action but too short. For me the game gets 8.5 and i think it deserves it but the name alone seems to beset a sense of 9.0+ without even playing it so to me it's slightly overrated.
