Halo Reach is all flash and lacks a good story to back it up. There are moments in the game that are great, don't get me wrong, but those don't make up for the shallow characters, same story outline as previous games, and a short campaign. Heck they kill off the most interesting character halfway through the game (won't spoil it for you).Gameplay has a few new features such as armor abilities and assassinations, nothing special. Multiplayer is the only reason I'm not turning this game in because the new online setup and Forge map creator are amazing but that is to be expected from Bungie. However the Campaign which tells the legendary story of Reeach falls flat. Reminds me of Hollywood's problem with finding original plot lines or not repeating the same plot in every movie ( in this case, game). The Bottom line is if you love the Halo series, buy it, you might like it, but if your a person who loves a great story....save your money and rent it.
