Ultimately a game for the fan but not a complete package that it meant to be for gaming today
No doubt Reach is a good game, fantastic graphic and music that is often enough to bring goosebumps as you blast through waves of covenant forces, but the game play ultimately feels too familiar and AI still left much to the desire. The levels are huge and vary but the you know how it is going to play out; enemy will pop out there and there. Friendly AI is not as good as those in other game but not totally bad while enemy AI is not shy at all to throw some very accurate sticky grenade at you; often 2 at the same time while you are not looking. Grenade indicator?. Eitherway, I've die a lot of time wondering what just happen. Story wise really wish they flesh out the characters of both you and Noble team better, it's really hard to feel the loss if you knew they were going to die and the connection is not established.
Ultimately, Reach is a good game. It combines everything people love about Halo and adding some new elements such as the armor ability (it's probably more for multiplayer), but just as Bungie realised it's time to move on, Halo gaming is ultimately a game play that needs to move on too and Reach is that one last hurrah for fans to say it's farewell.
