Halo Reach: Surpassing Expectations

User Rating: 9.5 | Halo: Reach X360
Halo: Reach is now released and people around the world are able to experience what I feel is Bungie's greatest game--Reach.

Although I do agree that a lot of what Bungie did in Reach has been done before, I was fascinated at the variety that Reach offers. The campaign, although short, was the best Halo experience that I've had thus far. From the graphics to the cut scenes, the story kept me interested from the beginning to the end; not to mention I think that Bungie did a great job concluding the series. It is an experience that I will not forget.

The multiplayer; well, it is Bungie so you know that you are going to have good multiplayer regardless, and Reach completely delivers. The gameplay, game variants, and overall quality of the multiplayer surpasses every other Halo game, keeping the same feel as previous Halo games but adding a new style--it is simply more intense! Not to mention you have Forge World, Firefight, and multiple different game types!

With Halo: Reach you have the complete package--Campaign, Forge World, MP, and Firefight. It is the real Halo experience. I know that some people feel that Bungie keeps doing the same things over and over and that Halo: Reach was not that great . . . however, I respectfully disagree simply because Halo: Reach has so much variety and variation, you cannot simply bash it on the terms of "it is the same game as every other Halo game," when obviously and logically it is not--it is similiar, yes; but very different and better.

Halo: Reach is the best Halo game. Whether you are a critic or not, you must respect Bungie for this game.
