Engaging but short single player and rehashed multiplayer

With this new halo games there is lush presentation to the single player campaign thats both engaging and fun although tended to be a little short and I completed it on normal in within 4 hours. They did manage not to make you retrace your steps to often as they tend to in the previous games and the backgrounds looked immense.
The multiplayer however seemed like a rehash of halo's multiplayer with jetpacks. The few levels that are packed with the game are boring and uninspired but did include a remake of the classic red vs blue map from halo 1.

All in all this is an outdated shooter as Modern Warfare 2 brings not only sharper visuals but better set pieces and explosions. My advice is to buy that instead. But if you still prefer the Halo 3 experience then continue playing that one and save your money.
