my first Halo game ever, and not the best FPS in the world but i have to say i fairly enjoyed it.

as a gamer that has never played halo before i was pleasantly surprised with the gaming in halo reach. a lot of great action and memorable characters where introduced to me and i had a blast playing it. but on the other hand i didn't quite see anything different from modern day shooters, and so i had a really hard time figuring out what made halo so damn popular. aside from some exciting space vehicle combat, halo is just like any other shooter. maybe its because i never got into the series when they where at their peek.

i just want to keep things simple and short and point out the pro's and cons about halo: reach

con's
1. silly enemies = i found the grunts especially silly sometimes as they reminded me of something you would see in a pixar movie. this made me laugh a couple of times but when you are playing a cool game like halo, silly little grunt's running around the screen sometimes make you brake character
2.shotgun was kinda weak and long to reload.
3. not as much variety in the campaign as i had hoped.


pro's
1. awesome enemies, especially the elites
2. cleaver challenging AI.
3. plenty of variety of guns.
4.spectacular space battles.
5. 4 player online mode.
6. customizable character ,games and levels using forge.
7. interesting characters
8. very fun multiplayer
9. great sound and patriotic music.
10. satisfying ending

with all that said and done i really recommend halo reach to anyone who enjoys a great shooter.
