halo Reach's armory: The games armory is not what you would expect in a halo game some gun in the game are just upgraded versions of the orginal. Examples needler to needle rifle......ect they also got rid of the battle rifle and replaced with a single fire gun called the dmr . For all you halo flamethrower lover there is no flamethrower in reach and I don't blame them for taking it out. But due to the armory's lack of original awsome halo guns, Bungie decided to add all those new weapon you see plasma laucher,gernade laucher and so on. ARMORY SCORE 7
Halo reach campaign: The campaign is very short and takes about a 6 hours to pass. Campaign is the best ever in a halo game. The campaign is sad and makes you want to play more to find out what happens. Campaign is really amazing, and unlike previous halo games spartan ineract more and actaully show their face. The missions really tie into the story and make total sense. The Campaign will bring an experince never before is a halo game SPACE BATTLEING!!!!!!!!!!! Well the fun in that is driving a ship and shooting seraphs and banshees in space. Bungie did good on the campaign and really deserves credit for that. Campaign Score 8
Matchmaking and Firefight: Firefight is really awsome now. Firefight deliver a slightly different experince from halo 3 odst. Firefight has a customization option so you could choose what enemys you face,make custom skull, make super speed,..........ect The firefight customization options are awsome and are bound to keep you entertained for hours on edge. Firefight has a new mode called versus where players who be elite are on the covenant's side and face the spartans. Matchmaking.............. there is not much to say but it has 3 playlists one of the playlists called cooperative tie into firefight like bread and butter. one thing to say playing infection...... wait oh yeah infection is in reach TOO... well playing infection in matchmaking is sucks and it is hard to kill the zombies because they can do a "Quick roll in the air" and it gets hard to kill them when they do that. Forge and custom games: Custom games is the same as before but, has a few different customization options for certain gametypes. Needless to say if you played halo 3 there is nothing much to say about custom games but it ties into forge. Forge is more better than ever with over 150 object for the map forge world. Forge on other maps is kind of the same as halo 3 o the money except for spire. Forge world is a map for forge which is one map made from 6 maps. Forge World brings out the best in forge with $10000 and 150 forgeable objects. Forge is different now example the controls,camera,customization,and more. In Forge you can now phase most object into any scerny on the maps. Bungie made most tricks in halo 3 into full blown tools on forge world. Custom games score 8 Forge 8
Credit system and Customization: Customization is a big thing in reach but, the CREDIT SYSTEM RUINS THAT!!!!!!! Customization takes customizing to whole new level. You colud customize your spartan and he will show up with the armor you custimized for me or she in campaign cutscences. Although Custization is good it very much lack custimization for the elite by alot. The only thing you could do for an elite is choose a sets of armor. Now here COMES the biggest disappointment of all of reach the credit system. Looking at a cool armor effect and yrying to get it it very very hard work it takes a while just to get about 15000cr . The credit system ruins alot of funs out of reach because you would work your butt of in one game and still get a low amount of credits. The credit limit is 60000 per day get more than that in a day, and bungie will suspect your hacking or boosting and ban you. The Credit system makes reach hates you but still reach is a good game. Credit system score 4 and Customization 10
Final thoughts: When playing reach I feel like am playing halo 1 and when your playing the game it feels as if the game is unfinished. Halo reach is pretty much a mix of all halo games in one. Halo Reach is good but brings a tittle to the table. My Final score is 7.5
