User Rating: 9.5 | Halo: Reach X360
Halo Reach (made by Bungie. The developers of every other Halo except for Halo Wars) is not only the prequel to Halo 1, but it's also supposedly the last game to be made by Bungie. Is Halo Reach the game that everybody wanted or Halo Reach an overly hyped game. Here is the review for Halo Reach.

The Good - Great Campaign perfectly connects to Halo 1. Great new team to be apart of. Multi-player is better than ever.

The Bad - Campaign is short. Story has alot of cliches.

Presentation - Halo Reach starts off as you are put in the shoes of Noble 6, a soldier part of Noble Team. Supposedly these guys came before Master Chief did. Noble team has been tasked with one dangerous mission; save planet Reach. Reach is the last place of human hope and you are told that if Reach is destroyed, all hope is lost for humanity. This story does a excellent job of connecting to the events of Halo 1, but as excellent as it is there are some parts that i found to be to predictable to happen (such as the ending). I wont spoil anything, but i will say that Reach does have an amazing campaign.

Game play - There have been numerous improvements to Reach such as better graphics, better forge editor, and a better game engine to handle bigger battles. Even though there is a better engine the frame rate does tend to struggle at points, but not to much. The controls are even better this time around. A new feature called armor abilities makes a start and makes the game play a blast. Multiplayer is better than ever so i wont go into too much detail there. Now you can customize your spartan to the way you want him to look and not only do you use him in the campaign, you get to use him in every game mode. The thing that impresses me most about Reach is how accessible it is. In the main menu to the right there is a list of friends that are playing Reach and you can invite them to your party or join them with ease. The soundtrack is amazing as well with Martin O' Donnell returning to the score.

The verdict - Overall Halo Reach is a excellent game and one of the best of this generation. Halo Reach gets a 9.5 out of 10.
