A true Grand Finale
Halo: Reach is a game that tries to revive that sheer "Whoa!" that was in Halo: Combat Evolved. It does a pretty good job at doing so. The graphics, of course, are amped up much. The guns look more industrial, like a human would make, and the world look's like a world that a human would make it be. The vehicles have gotten a makeover too. You can notice extra doodads placed in them.
There are moments where you just have to laugh, especially when you see ostriches (some people say they weren't ostriches, but I don't know) run through the middle of the battleground, yet there are other moments when you just want to shed a tear. They have a great story, although they could have done a little better in character development.
The Covenant is extremely tough in this game. The elites can be a hastle alot, especially when your trying to snipe them. Brutes are just overpowered, and are much stronger than in Halo 3.
The grunts are always grunts, and are always weak.
Multiplayer is fun, but luck (if you believe in it) goes into play majorly. The game styles have a lack of variety. I noticed that you play the same game style as you always do.
Forge was to me the funnest part of the entire game. The ability to play with my friends and make the greatest custom maps made it fun, and it was very fun to prank people in it, especially when they're in fight mode. I had some very good memories in forge, that I will cherish for the rest of my gaming life.
Some of the levels in campaign could have used a little more kick, especially in the level "New Alexandria. It seemed generally dull, save for the fact I could fly a Falcon.
In all, this is a pretty good finale for the series, but I will be waiting for the next one, which will be made by 343 Industries....(hopefully).
If this is indeed the last Halo to ever be made, than I wish this series a nice rest.
RIP Halo!
