Took me totally by suprise.

AS the title says this game took me by suprise. i played in the beta but it felt like halo3 which is no bad thing but it maybe kept my expectations under control. now fast forward to release day and once i pop the disc in and it fires up im greeted by the lovely title sequence and then the menu. Halo Reach has lovely menus. they go totally unoticed most of the time but they are easy and accessable. the updated graphics are very easy on the eye and make Halo look like it belongs in this generation of console they are nothing short of stunning. the gameplay is spot on and plot and voice acting is up there with the best too. multiplayer wise this game is nothing short of epic. the maps are well thought out and forge is a complete masterstroke. the weapons are well balanced and the whole scoring and reward system is great. this is the best halo i have played and a great way for bungie to bow out. the bar for online shooters has certainly been raised as this in my opinion took the baton from MW2. Can Black ops take it back for CoD?
