Great Game for any player, just keep an eye on the time as you'll be playing forevere!!
First i'd like to talk about the gameplay. Halo 3 was criticised for being to mad and insane however, as everyone played as master chief the concept was quite believably. However, when a chapter in a series goes back in time, its difficult to include better weapons and equipment, as people will wonder where they were in the earlier chapters. Unfortunately, this is the only bad point of reach, the game is to good. It just doesn't, no matter how well bungie make up the story, fit with the other games, For example, the jet pack. This is a high tech piece of kit which is very useful, and you would want to keep one instead of not have later on. This situation occurs with weapons and all of the armour abilities. However, bungie can improve the gameplay, as that doesn't have to change according to the time.
The campaign is the biggest improvement from Halo 3. It was a stoke of genius for bungie to put the new main character in a group of people. This makes the whole game more of a team effort, and you don't feel alone as your team are actually half decent!
Halo strives on its multiplayer masterpiece. I believe that bungie have finally made a good enough multiplayer, that i can say that it is better than any other online multiplayer ever created! The whole concept works brilliantly and being able to have mates round and go online with them, without them having to have an xbox is fantastic.
Overall, Halo Reach is the best game that i have ever played. This is just because bungie juggle the fighting aspect with the fun insanity that, for me, makes Halo. Therefore the game is just what you want no matter who you are. Either a hardcore lonewolf, or a recreational man have a laugh with a crowd of mates! This is why i rate Halo Reach at 9.9. Only 9.9 as there are one or two problems with the timeframe. However, these are only minor, therefore the game, and bungie deserve a high rating.
