The Noble teams journey to save Reach!
Although the PS3 is more powerful than the 360, you cannot deny that Reach does not have it's own beauty. By far the most visually stunning game on the 360, and preferably better looking too me than anything on the PS3. Halo Reach as compared to Halo 3 was as big of a step up as Halo 2 was to Halo CE.
The Noble team sets out on a mission to investigate the loss of a transmission from the Visegrád Relay Communications Outpost. Only to find out that this is the work of the Covenant, the team sets out to save Reach.
Where do I start? First person shooters aren't my favorite, infact, I find tons of them boring, not naming one series that constantly repeats itself every year, and it knows who it is. With all of the new added armor abilities, and beautiful graphics, it plays just like an old Halo game but with faster paced action and for some reason, it has a more addicting feel to it. You move around with the left analog stick, obviously, and you use the right analog stick for aiming, and you push down on it to aim down your gun sights. The right trigger shoots the gun you have equipped, and the left trigger throws which grenade you have equipped. You reload your gun with X, beat someone down with the right bumper, but if you sneak up behind them and hold down the right bumper, you do an assassination. The B button changes grenades, and the Y button changes guns. The left bumper does whatever armor ability you have on you, such as run or use a jetpack, or even armor lock. The gameplay is fantastic!
Music plays a small role on Halo games, but here it once again is amazing. I will wait at the title screen just for the menu theme to play, but there's several others throughout all the levels that will keep you motivated to keep going through the action.
This is what a good thing about the Halo series is, THE MULTIPLAYER. Infact, it's a great thing! Halo is always something nice and refreshing, as compared to the series that is the exact same every year. There are several online modes, and even offline modes to keep you playing this game for hundreds of hours.
Overall, this is a very satisfying experience. I highly recommend it if you like Halo, or even first person shooters in general. This is easily the greatest shooter of all time! I've had an extremely large amount with not just the campaign, but firefight and the multiplayer in general. So much to do. This game keeps you active, unlike a ruined game series called CoD. If you're looking for a great shooter to play, this is it!
