halo wars puts a bad name on the franchise with it's repetitive action, button mashing, and limited appeal to the game.

User Rating: 6 | Halo Wars X360
Concept: put a bad name to the franchise by trying to make the halo game into a third person strategy game and fail in almost every way it really isn't even a strategy since there's no strategy involved is more of a money squeeze to get out of the fans of the franchise and disappoint them in almost every way

Sound: first ten minutes of hearing the squad and leader give out the commands and comments but then when you hear the same thing more then 50 times you want to put a gun to your head and pull the trigger at least the voice acting is acceptable

Playability: this game isn't even strategic it's just disappointing with no element of strategy at all just button mashing the only thing that i could consider being strategic is that you get to pick the groups you want to send out but even that is limited

Graphics: the cut-scenes are very impressive and immersive and so is the enemy design and from far away the graphics are impressive but from up close they are dull

Entertainment: with the button mashing it hits the entertainment hard in a bad sort of way but with the limited options you get to choose for the troops it it's the entertainment even harder in a bad sort of way but fun can be had in skirmish battles which makes some enjoyable experiences to be had with this game

Replay Value: moderate
