I have to say that I was surprised by this game, as the idea of a 2-D Halo side-scroller has been in my mind for quite a while. This idea works surprisingly well although all tactical game play is lost in favor of hoping your can pump covenant full of enough led so they don't kill you first.Despite this the the game has its moments, including multiply Warthog driving scene and a banshee defense game. Its graphics are quite good even though they use 2-D sprites. I have two main complaints with this game. First is the sound. Its neither original as it takes clips from the actually game and it just seems to fall flat. The game has no voice-overs and the dialog is awkward at best. The games other flaw is that it is way, way to short. You can beat the entire game within an hour on most difficulties. Despite the games short-comings in the end its just plain unadulterated fun.
