Can't go wrong with Backgammon

Probably the most confusing game to play in person just made it easier in this version of Backgammon on XBLA. I liked this game! I played it on PC before, but it was a great game to play, even against the computer. Lots of strategy involved and just fully customizable.

Good = Backgammon
Bad = Backgammoned

Gameplay
Backgammon: Fast and easy to pick up, Fooms are random but at least something to do while waiting for the other player to move
Backgammoned: It's a computer so you don't know if it's fair with the computer, not really a variety of gamemodes

Graphics
Backgammon: Decent enough to look like you're playing there, customizable environments and game pieces
Backgammoned: Probably could have used avatars

Controls
Backgammon: In case you make a mistake, they still have the option of "End Turn"
Backgammoned: Nothing wrong... just simple controls

Sounds
Backgammon: Relaxing peaceful sounds and ambience
Backgammoned: Too quiet, but you can play your own music

Overall
Good game to have. Not sure if it's worth 800 MS points, but it's fun to play. If you don't like board games, don't get it. But, it's probably a great classic game to play on a rainy day... just like right now. 9/07 Orlando
