Good but better on off the PC

The other day i went with my maye to our local game shop. An while he was looking at the xbox section of the shop i wondered over to the PC games, mainly because i was i desperate need of a PC game because i had no decent ones. And then " Harry Potter" cought my eye an because iw as getting the latest one for christmas which by the way was in a weeks time. So i decided to get into the Harry Potter mood before i got the latest edition of its series. So i bought it for a very reasonable price of £4.99

So i took it home later that day and installed it, it installed in no time, which i thought was pretty good. And then when i started playing i thought i was pretty good but then i noticed it didnt start in the Burrow like the PS2 an Xbox edition. It actualy started when they crashed into the whomping willow. But it didnt even include Harry rescuing Ron. They just casualy walked up the path way towards the castle like nothing happened. BUt i thought maybe it has added parts which the PS2 an Xbox didnt have.

But i was only partly right it did have some things that the PS2 an Xbox didnt, but that was only when you are in lessons you had to learn your spell. By hitting keys on your keyboard at the right moment. before you went on your quest. A bit like the PS1 edition of " The Philosephers Stone".

The story is great while it lasts but to short. But to make up for that its gets pretty hard at times. Like getting house points. The only way you can get house points is while your in a class challenge getting to the End with the most time remaining as possible which gives you house points. But getting to the end is hard enough without a time limit. But you can always go back to the challenges for more house points at the end of the game!!

And EA stupidly gaved you the "Game options" read me file, which means you pick everything in the game to suit you. like giving yourself 100,000,000 house points to start off with. Or asigning the F5 key to give you health when ever you press it. And mainly everything that makes the game challenging. But i am proud to say that i didnt use that option because that would ruin the whole aspect of the game.

And im not going to tell you how to do that either. But if you do wont to no how to do that see GameSpot cheats.

But in Closing it is a preety decent game an im glad i glanced upon it when i did because when your sitting there with nothing to do you can always turn it on an have a laugh, and find all the hidden secrets of Hogwarts. Or challenge your felloe class mates to a wizard duel, to win the special Berty Botts Every Flavor Beans. Which can be exchanged for goods such as Special Silver wizard cards or a Nimbus 2001.
And it certainly made the days counting down to christmas ever so quicker. And a great bargain for £4.99. And definatily got me in the Harry Potter mood!!!
