I must say that I'm rather dissappointed with this...

User Rating: 6.5 | Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire PS2
I have been eagerly awaiting this game for a long time now, seeing as the fourth book was one of my favorites in the Harry Potter series. Sadly, however, the game fails to meet my expectations.

The gameplay, while different from past Harry Potter games, is really very great or exciting. To begin, you have to collect Triwizard shields to advance to the next level of the game, and this can quickly got irritating. Also, I won't ruin this for those of you who don't know what happens, but I found that the final boss in this game was one of the easiest things in the whole game, which angers me, considering who it is.

Graphically, this game is pretty good. EA has gone to a lot of trouble to make the characters look like realistic to the actors, and the spell effects are very good.

The sound is also pretty good, though not as good as in previous games. However, the voice acting is rather poor and, particularly in Ron's case, can get on your nerves.

All in all, if you're a super Harry Potter fan that collects all the games, go ahead and get this. If not, I recommend this only as a rental, because I quite honostly would not pay the money to get this one from the store.

My final score for this game is 6.5 out of 10.
