Harvest Moon 64 will have you wondering just how long you spent playing it. Hours will go by while you play this wonderful real-life simulator. One thing you'll like about Harvest Moon is that there's always something different going on. Events can span over 4 years, and to beat the game (or at least get everything in it) you will be playing for at least 2 years. There are so many things to do in this game, like complete your photo album or get every recipe in the game, maybe get all home expansions and find a way to furnish it with everything possible, but have a guide ready- some things can only be aquired on a certain year, and you wouldn't want to miss it. Sure the graphics aren't exactly perfect, but Harvest Moon is anything but boring. There are races and compititions you can participate in, and you can re-paint the roof on your barn, win a horse doll, and it goes on and on. Another neat thing about Harvest Moon is that you can stay up all night. After midnight, after 4:00AM, until 8:00AM, when you must eat breakfast. Don't worry- you don't have to party all night. You can sleep by logging in events in a book and hitting the sack right then. You can also watch TV, though the 4th channel is always disconected, (makes you wonder what is on it, huh?) you can still watch the weather, town calender, or a show called "Life on the Farm". Wonders will never cease. If you still have a 64 and like hacking away at dead grass with a blade, pick up Harvest Moon 64.
