Harvest Moon has been a successful game throughout the years. It has appeared on practically every console to date and can be enjoyed by people of all ages. In this game you can start a farm, marry a woman, have a child, grow crops and raise farmyard animals. AWL also introduces, for the first time, genders in animals. You can buy one bull and one female cow and make a calf. The way in which milk is given in cows is also much realistic than the other games because the cows only gives milk if it is a lady cow and only 40 days after she gave birth to a calf which personally i think is very realistic. There are plenty of people in your town that each lead there own separate lives. At certain points of the day they will walk to different places or do something. You can also make friends with them by giving them gifts or taking to them a lot or in Celia's case buying things from her store. Making friends with people will give you great rewards. A brand new feature is connecting to the Gameboy advance game Harvest Moon Friends of mineral town. It enables you to get special items and new shops will open on both consoles. AWL comprises of 10 years of your life. Some people thought this was strange considering that on all the other games you could play for over 50 years and still go on. However this is made up by a better clock that lets time go by slightly slower. Overall Harvest Moon Packs animals, crops, horses cows and a whole other lot of things together in one lovely game.
