Harvest Moon is all about working on a farm where you're supposed to do whatever farmers do. Is it any fun? Yes, very!

The graphics are one of Harvest Moon's weakest sides. It looks good, but it's not nearly as good as the rest of the game (except the sounds, which aren't any good). The characters in the game look great and are in manga stile, but the animations aren't that good though. The sounds are pretty bad really. The sound effects are repeatative. They are pretty good, but the same ones occour all to often. The music though is pretty good. There are only 2 different tracks to be played when you're on your farm, but you can buy more of them if you connect the game to the GBA game Harvest Moon: Friends of Mineral town. When I first started playing this game I wasn't too happy about it, but after a while I really understood how great this game really is. The game grabed me and wouldn't let go. I playd it arround 2-4 hours every day the first week! After that it really calmed down a little, but I was still playing it. You simply can't wait to see what's arround the next corner. Will the tomatoes grow? Will the calf grow up? And most important of all, will the lady next door mary you!? There are so many things to do such as milking the cows, finding a whife, watering the plants, fishing and talking to people in town. Maybe the games strongest side is its longvity, cause this game is very, very long. It will at least last you 100 hours if you want to finish it. I've played the game half way through, and I seriously need to take a break now. I've been playing it for arround 60 hours and I'm a bit tierd of watering plant and milking cows. The game will come back, but not for a while I think. That's some of the things that's so brilliant about this game, cause when I'm going to play it again I'm not finished and I will find out new things and so on. The game is very, very good and I recommend it for everyone that seek something different then shooting and killing. + Good graphics. Extremely long and it will at least take you 100 hours to finish it. There are many different things to do on the farm and in town. You can become friends with people in town. - The sounds are generaly pretty bad, and there are only 2 different music tracks on your farm. The animations are pretty bad.
