Now, gamers don't like physical labour, so why should we like a virtual farming game? Because its a fun take on farming!
The graphics are marvelous, deffinitly pushes the GC's graphics to its limits. The enviroment looks fantastic and the characters look chibi, but the textures fuse them in with the realistic trees and grass. It looks nice.
Gameplay: Well, there isn't another farming game that I know of, so by far this has the best farming game play ever! lol, seriously though everything works great, and theres plenty to do. As always theres some kind of adventure rolled in with the farming, some magical stuff as well. Gives it some great variety, that keeps you working your farm and working for more. And of course in this game you get married at the end of year one, whether you like it or not, so for the first year, work on which every girl you want, however they don't really do much, it just determines what your child is gonna be like, and at that it doesn't really matter much either. Bonus stuff: My only complaint is that the "world" is too small, the village is very small, not enough places to go, or people to see, and there isn't much of a valley. I find that with all harvest games though, I'd like to see like a seperate forest between two villages that are both crucial in the game. Hopefully they can accomplish that for the wii. Otherwise the village is good, the people are interactive and theres lots of space for riding your horse.
Harvest Moon: A Wonderful Life is wonderful! Its worth buying most deffinitly. Any and every gamer can appreciatte the relaxing gameplay and interaction. Theres nothing to bring the value down really. So go out and buy it of you haven't already.
