Definitely deserves a spot on the Wall of Shame with some caution tape.
And no, I am not trying to flame. Instead, I will unleash every little bit of my honest opinion about this game.
I was actually excited to play this game when I first got it. It was kind of fun for a while. I did the usual planting, exploring, and pulling weeds business and then...I realized after a week (a week in real life) of gameplay...I was getting absolutely nowhere. This game is way too time-consuming...and way too flavorless. It's almost like eating 5 gallons of rice. After I woke up the next morning (in game ofc), 20 weeds already grew in my backyard. Pulling 20 weeds a day is a little painful---especially when it takes you weeks just to earn like a handful of bucks. By the time you actually make enough money to buy something useful, you've already pulled over 300 weeds.
Surprisingly, the graphics were actually good. I liked the music too. Just not that awfully boring town and awfully boring way of finishing the game. To get crops that earn you more than like 2 dollars, you have to harvest 100 of the previous crop. Oh goddddd it makes me cringe.
I also did not like the controls.
Anyways enough about my complaining. Here is my frugal rating in terms of money. This game is marketed at about 10-20 bucks. Buy or no buy: I say don't buy it and save that change for another game. Actually if you can borrow it, don't even. Playing this game might even increase your blood pressure. Avoid at all costs.
I had the choice to play this game or study for my law final. My law book was a lot more interesting than this sad excuse for a game. Btw, I quit this game in the beginning...because it was just torturous. SAVE YOURSELVES. Go play another HM game.
