A Non-Violent Alternative

These Harvest Moon games get me. How can a game where all you do is wander around, doing chores no less, be fun, let alone be very fun? I don't have the answers, but, rest assured, Harvest Moon IS fun. This little game is going to make you sit for hours and hours, simply farming your crops. Actually, the first time I got my tomato plants harvested and sent to the "money place" and got a boatload of cash, I was simply extatic. Now, it's not all farming. You can fish, raise animals, mine, or even court woman. This game really is a carefree, non-violent game for all ages. However, that is not to say that it is for everyone. Some of the more action oriented gamers or twitch gamers may find it utterly boring. But, I love action games (look at the other games I have reviewed and my collection and you'll see) but I still loved and became hopelessly addicted to this game. If you are looking for a non-violent, very addicting game to spend some time with, then check this one out, as it deserves a much bigger audience.
