An unsuspectingly great game that appears kiddish but is one of the best GBA games out there. **Not for serious gamers**
I started playing thinking it was going to be a horrible game, but it was a good enough game to sway my predisposed opinion into a fan of the series.
It starts out with you, a young boy left to inherit a farm, and you are tasked with, not only building a successful farm, but befriending the villagers and finding a wife.
Harvest Moon: Friends of Mineral Town does a great job of making the game realistic without making it too complicated for it's players. You can make a living by gathering objects from the surrounding territory and selling it, farming crops on your land, or raising animals and selling them or their products/offspring.
Also, another aspect of the game is "dating" miscellaneous girls around the town. However, it's not so much dating as it is giving them gifts everyday, but it still adds another aspect to the game.
Overall, HMFMT is a great game, however stupid the idea may seem, and will provide you with quality hours of entertainment, although serious gamers may not find it as captivating.
