Although you would think a farming game to be boring, there is an addictive quality of playing the life of a farmer
Gameplay:
This is the first simulation game I ever played and definitely made a good impression. You basically just plant crops milk the cows and earn money. Although the game is somewhat tedious especially when gathering crops, it was fun and almost addictive. The more you play, the more upgraded your farm equipment becomes. For instance, instead of putting crops in a bin, you can get a saddle for your horse so you don't have to walk as far. Also, instead of a watering can that waters only one plant, you can get a sprinkler that waters six or seven. The addicting value comes when you earn better things; however, it does become tedious and basically routine when you have to feed the animals and milk them and water plants. Unlike recent Harvest Moon games, there really isn't any competitions or dating.
Graphics:
Not bad, but not great. For the Gameboy color, they were okay.
Sound:
Sound is a little annoying and repetitive, but its okay.
Value:
You'll definitely be playing the game for a long time before it gets boring.
Tilt:
There is definitely much fun to be had with this game. It is a very fun simulation game, but if you don't like games like Animal Crossing, this isn't the game for you. I think its worth a try, but you may not be able to find it anywhere.
