It's hard to get where you want in the game, but when you do it's completely addicting.

I bought this game expecting AWL and what I got was FoMT. I love Harvest Moon, and I've been playing it for as long as I can remember, and Magical Melody is just another great addition to the Harvest Moon family. Only the people who truly love Harvest Moon can appriciate the exceptional gameplay in this version. You start off as someone (a boy or a girl) that would like to run a farm in a little town. You pick one of three lots that each have their own advantages and start farming. You get a dog at the beginning of the game, and have to work for everything else. It has people from all Harvest Moon games, and there are 8 bachelors/bachelorettes. You're goal in the game is to free the Harvest Goddess, who has turned to stone because of the people in the world who don't appreciate and such. You have to collect notes, which you receive from doing various things like taking your first step, planting a tree, buying animals etc. You can buy land, which is new to the series, and you have to build a barn etc, which differs from your farm coming with everything. If you like the series, you'll love this addition. It's worth the money and I'd recommend it.
