Collection of HoI 1, HoI 2 and its expansions Doomsday and Armageddon all on one DVD. Great value!
This is a single DVD collection of all games of the Paradox HoI series up to the Armageddon add-on, neatly packaged in a nice box and including a printed manual that is actually helpful. As a goody you receive a good-looking medal which you might like to wear on Halloween (no real use for that). The real bonus is an big, oversize map of the whole HoI world with the names of provinces, albeit printed in microscopic size.
So if you do not know or own the series yet, look out for this offering. It is a great value. The game is very good and deep once you get the hang. It is a true strategy game that requires planning and thinking. It is not a quick flash-in-the-pan action game, so it will not appeal to everybody. If you make the effort and learn it it will reward you with much replayability as each time you can play in a different style or as another nation.
Read the reviews on gamespot, there is not much to say beyond that. I rate it an easy 8.5 for the game(s) plus another 0.5 for the nice package and the map.
