A God of War clone minus gore and ease of controls

If the game's story wasn't so great I honeslty would have never got past Chapter 3, so for a rental this game is definitly worth it based on that alone. However the game is extremely frustrating with the worst offender being the blocking system for me. The sixaxixs thing seems like a cheap gimmick as well. The voice acting is good, with at least one well known actor, but sometimes they go a little over the top particulary Brohan and Firefoxx.

If you want to see this game done right I would suggest something from the God of War series, and if you've played those before you will be amazed at how much is taken from them and put into this. Basically this is God of War with a female lead and no gore.

Honeslty without giving away too much if it wasn't for the end battles I would have given this a 7 or 7.5 but the camera's and the people getting in the way of you and your target left me with a bad taste.

In cinculsion I would say go for a God of War if you've never played them and are interested in this..but if you must play this game the story will more than make up for it's many shortcomings.
