First of all, why was this rated so poorly? It was a fantastic game! Even better than Heretic to be honest.
I can understand the poor ratings for the console versions, because the console versions of the game are terrible, but this normal version... why?
It included nice graphics, some new additions to the DOOM engines such as looking up and down, and jumping and crouching and inventory and stuff like that.
what is so bad about it, really?

This game, as for my opinion for a classic gamer like myself, is the greatest FPS I have ever played since BLOOD 2 (which I also liked)
This is one of the gods of classic gaming
although it gets annoying using DOSBox just to play it :(
anyway, I like this game SO much, that I actually ordered a retail copy (the only on on sale omfg!) from ebay.
still waiting for it in the mail :D
anyway, amazing game, underrated and just plain awesome.
