This game had the opportunity to become one of the greatest pc games of all time, unfortunately its bugs destroyed that opportunity. Later the Deluxe version was released and everything was rolling flawlessly, but obviously it was *kinda* too late. Memories of commandos stucking in the ground and falling through the ground remained and the bad aftertaste was always there..

It is amazing tho how this game has aged very little, after more than a decade it's still very enjoyable and the only thing that reminded me of it's age were the blocky commando animations.

And after this game the czechs from Illusion Softworks gave us the best pc game of all time, which was surprisingly almost bug-less. And Mafia 2 is almost finished and coming in a few months. 'Is this the real life? Is this just fantasy?'
